How I got here

  1. 2007

    My first cruise was fifteen nights in Hawaii on Holland America. It's still the longest one I've done.

  2. 2008 to 2014

    Carnival, over and over. Elation to Baja and to Catalina, Splendor on the Mexican Riviera, then Valor and Dream in the Caribbean.

  3. 2017 to 2019

    Three Zumba charter cruises on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas, one a year.

  4. 2019 to 2025

    Back to Carnival. Inspiration to Ensenada, Glory in the Western Caribbean, Radiance to Catalina and Ensenada, and Conquest to the Bahamas.

  5. July 2026

    My first Virgin Voyages sailing, nine nights on Scarlet Lady through the French Riviera, Italy and Ibiza. Honestly, it barely had any sea days. I paid for this gorgeous ship and then spent the whole week getting off of it.

  6. Coming up

    Carnival Firenze to Baja in November 2026, and Star of the Seas in the Western Caribbean in February 2027.

The message that started this

"How do you afford it?"

I get some version of that message every single time we get back from a cruise. After I posted my Virgin trip, it kept coming. And honestly, that's how this whole thing started.

People wanted to know how we travel as much as we do without spending some insane amount of money. And I realized I actually had a lot of tips to share.

What people don't realize is how much is already included. Your room, food, entertainment, multiple destinations. And there are cruises for every budget.

I was already helping people plan trips just because I liked doing it. And eventually we realized, why not actually turn this into a business?

So now I plan and book cruises as an independent agent, for people who want someone to help them figure out what makes sense for them.

What I do, and what I don't

The booking part takes maybe ten minutes. Everything around it is the actual job.

What I do

  • Narrow it down. Thousands of sailings, down to the handful that actually fit your trip and your budget.
  • Handle the details. Which cabins sit under the pool deck. When your final payment is due. The stuff you find out the hard way exactly once.
  • Keep watching after you book. Fares move and things change. Somebody has to be watching. That's me.
  • Tell you when a cruise is wrong for you. I'd rather lose one booking than book you wrong.

What I don't do

  • Charge you. No planning fee, no markup, no bill at the end.
  • Talk you into a different ship. If you already found the one you want, send it to me. Same ship, same week.
  • Pretend I'm neutral. I only get paid if you book through me, so yes, I would love to be the one booking your cruise. But my money comes from the cruise line, not from you.

Where my experience actually comes from

I've sailed Carnival nine times, Royal Caribbean three times, Holland America once and Virgin Voyages once. When I tell you something about a line, I'll tell you whether it comes from my own sailing or from checking it for you.
